HS249 Aluminium Horizontal Sliding Window – 2400 × 900
The HS249 aluminium horizontal sliding window is a wide 2400 × 900mm two-panel window with one fixed panel and one sliding sash. It provides a generous glazed area for natural light while the sliding sash provides practical ventilation without projecting outward.
Its wide proportions make the HS249 suitable for bedrooms, kitchens, living areas, passages, utility rooms and other larger openings. Sigmadoors currently lists the HS249 as an Icon Series horizontal sliding window.
Wide 2400 × 900mm Aluminium Sliding Window
At 2.4 metres wide and 900mm high, the HS249 works well where you want a wider window without using a tall, full-height design. The large glazed area helps bring natural light into the room while maintaining a simple horizontal appearance.
| Suitable Area | Why It Works |
| Bedroom | Provides good daylight and ventilation |
| Kitchen | Wide glazing works well along larger walls |
| Living Area | Provides natural light and a wider outside view |
| Passage | Helps bring light into long circulation areas |
| Utility / Laundry | Practical ventilation without an outward-opening sash |
Horizontal Sliding Operation
The HS249 consists of one fixed glazed panel and one sliding sash. The opening sash moves horizontally on rollers within the aluminium frame, so it requires no additional space inside or outside the building.
Choose Handle on Left or Handle on Right when ordering. The opening direction is determined when viewing the window from outside.
Clear or Frosted Glass
Choose Clear Glass for maximum natural light and visibility, or Frosted Glass where additional privacy is required.
Both clear and frosted/obscure glazing are currently available as options for the HS249.
Aluminium Frame Colours
The HS249 is available in Natural Anodized (Silver), White, Bronze, Charcoal or Black, allowing the window to match other aluminium windows and doors throughout the home or building.
